Hello, I'm Carol, from Taiwan. I have studied in the United States for two and a half years and got a Master of Engineering degree in finance. I love cultural exchanges and have rich experience in talking with foreigners. My interests are watching movies, listening to music, and swimming and traveling. If you are a beginner, I will introduce the basic grammar and pronunciation of Chinese in the beginning. At the same time, I will help you increase vocabulary through various topics of dialogue such as food, shopping, traveling, etc. By reviewing class content and completing homework, it is easier to accumulate Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities. If you are a student with a foundation in Chinese, I will provide different topics to enhance your Chinese conversation skills by chatting with me in my classroom. I am also willing to listen to the topics which you share with me, and help you express them in Chinese. After class, I will provide teaching materials to help you reviewing what you’ve learned in class. Besides, I am patient enough. If you have any questions, please feel free to interrupt at any time. I will always make sure all of your questions will be answered. Whether you are beginners or those with foundations in Chinese, welcome to choose my course. I'm quite flexible about the schedule. Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a professional Chinese teacher with many years of international teaching experience, and I currently live in France. I am a certified teacher holding an Advanced International Chinese Teaching Certificate. I taught Chinese to international students for five years at a university in China, and later taught Chinese courses for three years at a university in the United States. Teaching students from different cultural backgrounds has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and my classes have always been very well received by students. My professional path is also quite international. After my teaching experience, I completed a Master’s degree in accounting in the United States and worked at PwC in Boston. I later moved to France and obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting from ESSEC Business School. These experiences gave me a deep interest in cross-cultural communication. Currently, I am also learning French myself.
