Anna is a great teacher who is very patient and gives clear explanations. The one to one format online works well and Anna is very used to teaching in this way. The one to one format will allow to progress quickly. Anna is flexible in her approach to teaching and is able to teach at a level suitable for you meaning that Anna will stretch you beyond the textbook if necessary or slow the lesson down so you can really absorb what is being taught. ... Anna is an amazing teacher!! She adapted extremely well to the needs of the student. Also, she challenges me, and I love that is okay to make mistakes and try and then she corrects me without judgement. I have fun learning with her, and it definitely helped me immensely with my Chinese in every aspect. Writing, Listening, Talking and one of the biggest- my Confidence when using this new language.

My lessons with Anna are awesome!!. I never thought at 48 years old I could learn Chinese but Anna makes it so easy. She is very patient and really makes the class perfect for my needs. I was able to get promoted to a higher position at my company that needed a Chinese speaker to talk to some of the Chinese customers. If you're looking for an experienced Chinese that makes learning easy, fun and interesting pick Anna!

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a professional Chinese teacher with many years of international teaching experience, and I currently live in France. I am a certified teacher holding an Advanced International Chinese Teaching Certificate. I taught Chinese to international students for five years at a university in China, and later taught Chinese courses for three years at a university in the United States. Teaching students from different cultural backgrounds has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and my classes have always been very well received by students. My professional path is also quite international. After my teaching experience, I completed a Master’s degree in accounting in the United States and worked at PwC in Boston. I later moved to France and obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting from ESSEC Business School. These experiences gave me a deep interest in cross-cultural communication. Currently, I am also learning French myself. This experience helps me understand very well what adult language learners really need. 😉 Many traditional textbooks are either too childish or not very engaging for adults, so in my classes I prefer to use materials that are meaningful, interesting, and intellectually stimulating. 😊 In our lessons, I first take some time to understand your level and your goals. Then we design learning materials together based on your interests, including reading materials, videos, and conversation topics that are both interesting and challenging. My interests are quite broad. I enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction), traveling, music, philosophy, history, art, and culture. These topics often become great conversation material in class, helping students improve their Chinese in a relaxed and natural way. I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. Every lesson is adapted to your level and your interests, whether you are a beginner or already have experience learning Chinese. In addition, my background in accounting and finance allows me to help students who want to improve their Chinese in professional or business contexts. 😊 💼If you are interested in business communication in Chinese, we can design targeted lessons to help you communicate confidently. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your Chinese learning journey!

Hello everyone, I'm Angelina Ma, Is Yi people and now living in Shanghai. As a certified senior international Chinese teacher, I firmly believe that language is a bridge across borders. Over 15 years, I’ve shifted from teaching finance to Chinese, and traveled to over 30 countries—I truly love the clashes of different cultures. My classes are never boring: if you like food, we’ll chat about Yunnan rice noodles and Shanghai soup dumplings during grammar practice; if you’re curious about ethnic cultures, stories of the Dai Water-Splashing Festival might help you remember new words. I tailor courses to your goals—be it business communication, daily conversations, or cultural exploration—all turned into lively interactions. Here, mistakes are badges of growth, and every attempt to speak deserves encouragement. I look forward to seeing you go from shy试探 (tentative tries) to confident expression, understanding China through the rhythms of Chinese characters, and feeling the warmth of culture in words. Outside class, I’m always finding new things in life: morning mist over old towns, shouts in markets, the warmth of intangible cultural heritage crafts... These could all be little surprises in our classes. I’d love to wander with you in the world of Chinese, turning every character into a story and every sentence into strength. Looking forward to meeting you, and making Chinese "fun" in countless wonderful ways.
