¡Hola! Me llamo Alana. Desde pequeña, siento una gran pasión por el idioma chino. Por eso, en la universidad, estudié como asignatura de la ensenaza del"Chino como lengua extranjera". Esta especialidad me permitió aprender de forma sistemática el conocimiento del idioma chino y los métodos de enseñanza, y también reforzó mi deseo de compartir el chino con más personas. Estudié en Colombia y en España,Durante mi tiempo en el extranjero, di clases de chino en mi tiempo libre. Mis estudiantes fueron tanto niños como adultos. Según tu edad, interés y objetivo, diseño clases adecuadas para ti. Ya sea pronunciación (pinyin), caracteres, conversación diaria, gramática o cultura china, puedo explicarte con paciencia y claridad. Actualmente vivo en China. Espero compartir contigo mi experiencia y entusiasmo, para que aprendas chino de forma agradable. Ya sea que quieras mejorar tu capacidad de conversación diaria o aprender chino de manera sistemática, te acompañaré con dedicación para que progresemos juntos. ¡Espero verte pronto en clase!

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a professional Chinese teacher with many years of international teaching experience, and I currently live in France. I am a certified teacher holding an Advanced International Chinese Teaching Certificate. I taught Chinese to international students for five years at a university in China, and later taught Chinese courses for three years at a university in the United States. Teaching students from different cultural backgrounds has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and my classes have always been very well received by students. My professional path is also quite international. After my teaching experience, I completed a Master’s degree in accounting in the United States and worked at PwC in Boston. I later moved to France and obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting from ESSEC Business School. These experiences gave me a deep interest in cross-cultural communication. Currently, I am also learning French myself. This experience helps me understand very well what adult language learners really need. 😉 Many traditional textbooks are either too childish or not very engaging for adults, so in my classes I prefer to use materials that are meaningful, interesting, and intellectually stimulating. 😊 In our lessons, I first take some time to understand your level and your goals. Then we design learning materials together based on your interests, including reading materials, videos, and conversation topics that are both interesting and challenging. My interests are quite broad. I enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction), traveling, music, philosophy, history, art, and culture. These topics often become great conversation material in class, helping students improve their Chinese in a relaxed and natural way. I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. Every lesson is adapted to your level and your interests, whether you are a beginner or already have experience learning Chinese.
