🥰 Hello, I’m Teacher Shan from Chengdu, Sichuan — the hometown of pandas. If you are interested in Sichuan dialect, local food, and Bashu culture, welcome to my class!
I have 8 years of experience teaching Chinese in Chinese middle schools plus 3 years of experience teaching Chinese as a foreign language. I hold a Chinese Teacher Qualification Certificate and a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate (Level 2 Grade A). I am humorous, patient, and have a solid teaching background.
💖 I love teaching and enjoy exploring Chinese with my students. I use a relaxed and interactive way to help you find your own learning pace.
✈️ In my spare time, I enjoy reading and traveling. These hobbies allow me to bring more vivid culture and stories into class, helping you not only learn the language but also fall in love with the culture behind it.
I fully understand the real difficulties foreigners face when learning Chinese: confusing tones (such as mā, má, mǎ, mà), difficult Chinese characters, proper measure word usage like “a person, a cat, a car”, tricky grammar points such as le, zhe, guo, and feeling nervous or unconfident when speaking.
In my class, I will help you solve these problems one by one with clear explanations, practical examples, and plenty of practice. You will speak with standard pronunciation, correct usage, and real confidence.
Over the years, I have helped many students achieve real progress:
✅ Helped absolute beginners master standard pinyin and tones within 1–2 months and make simple daily conversations.
✅ Corrected pronunciation and tone problems effectively.
✅ Guided many students to pass HSK 1–4 with improved scores.
✅ Helped adult and business learners master practical spoken Chinese for travel, work, and daily life.
✅ Helped shy, quiet students become confident and willing to speak Chinese.
As a professional Chinese teacher, I believe language is a bridge connecting different cultures. I use task-based and situational teaching methods and design personalized plans for students at different levels:
🧒 Kids (Beginner): Fun games, short animations, and real-life scenes to make learning easy and interesting.
💼 Business Chinese: Focus on email writing, meeting communication, negotiation expressions, and practical workplace skills.
✈️ Travel Chinese: Useful sentences for asking directions, dining, shopping, checking in, and daily travel situations.
📖 HSK Preparation: Based on the latest exam outline, key points, test skills, homework, and review for efficient progress.
With my 8-year experience teaching formal Chinese in schools, I can explain grammar, characters, and logic more clearly and systematically.
I provide lesson materials, homework, pronunciation correction, and learning feedback after each class to help you improve steadily.
Learning Chinese can be fun and relaxing! I use interactive practice and real-life examples to help you overcome difficulties, explore the beauty of Chinese culture, and find your best learning way.
With consistent study for 4–6 months, you will speak Chinese confidently, communicate without fear, and master natural, useful, and interesting Chinese.
You will gain both knowledge and confidence.

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a professional Chinese teacher with many years of international teaching experience, and I currently live in France.
I am a certified teacher holding an Advanced International Chinese Teaching Certificate. I taught Chinese to international students for five years at a university in China, and later taught Chinese courses for three years at a university in the United States. Teaching students from different cultural backgrounds has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and my classes have always been very well received by students.
My professional path is also quite international. After my teaching experience, I completed a Master’s degree in accounting in the United States and worked at PwC in Boston. I later moved to France and obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting from ESSEC Business School. These experiences gave me a deep interest in cross-cultural communication.
Currently, I am also learning French myself. This experience helps me understand very well what adult language learners really need. 😉 Many traditional textbooks are either too childish or not very engaging for adults, so in my classes I prefer to use materials that are meaningful, interesting, and intellectually stimulating. 😊
In our lessons, I first take some time to understand your level and your goals. Then we design learning materials together based on your interests, including reading materials, videos, and conversation topics that are both interesting and challenging.
My interests are quite broad. I enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction), traveling, music, philosophy, history, art, and culture. These topics often become great conversation material in class, helping students improve their Chinese in a relaxed and natural way.
I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. Every lesson is adapted to your level and your interests, whether you are a beginner or already have experience learning Chinese.
In addition, my background in accounting and finance allows me to help students who want to improve their Chinese in professional or business contexts. 😊 💼If you are interested in business communication in Chinese, we can design targeted lessons to help you communicate confidently.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your Chinese learning journey!

Hello everyone, I'm Angelina Ma, Is Yi people and now living in Shanghai. As a certified senior international Chinese teacher, I firmly believe that language is a bridge across borders.
Over 15 years, I’ve shifted from teaching finance to Chinese, and traveled to over 30 countries—I truly love the clashes of different cultures. My classes are never boring: if you like food, we’ll chat about Yunnan rice noodles and Shanghai soup dumplings during grammar practice; if you’re curious about ethnic cultures, stories of the Dai Water-Splashing Festival might help you remember new words.
I tailor courses to your goals—be it business communication, daily conversations, or cultural exploration—all turned into lively interactions. Here, mistakes are badges of growth, and every attempt to speak deserves encouragement. I look forward to seeing you go from shy试探 (tentative tries) to confident expression, understanding China through the rhythms of Chinese characters, and feeling the warmth of culture in words.
Outside class, I’m always finding new things in life: morning mist over old towns, shouts in markets, the warmth of intangible cultural heritage crafts... These could all be little surprises in our classes.
I’d love to wander with you in the world of Chinese, turning every character into a story and every sentence into strength. Looking forward to meeting you, and making Chinese "fun" in countless wonderful ways.
