Hi, I’m Henry, I have a 150hr TESOL Certificate from Arizona State University and a year of online teaching experience. I am a native speaker from Namibia who grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, now living in Romania. Just like you, I am also a language learner, currently a beginner in Spanish, taking classes at A2 level. So, I can completely empathise with the difficulties in learning a new language or improving your speaking skills. I find that speaking is often the most difficult skill to master, so I emphasise conversational practice, patiently working with you to smooth out errors in pronunciation, grammar and sentence structure, while also helping you to improve your listening, reading and writing skills. Whether you are looking to improve your communication with colleagues at work, your English grades in school or working towards a certification, I will work with you, according to your interests, background and goals, to develop a learning plan with relevant and interesting materials, using both traditional and interactive online methods. I will also guide you through a series of exercises designed with your current level in mind to steadily progress you to C1 level and beyond.
