Soy Licenciada en Música de la Universidad de Antioquia, he forjado una trayectoria artística y pedagógica que integra formación académica rigurosa, experiencia escénica y una profunda vocación educativa. Inicié mi formación en el Instituto Diego Echavarría con la maestra Cecilia Espinoza, y más adelante continué en la Escuela Superior de Música de Tunja bajo la dirección del maestro Jorge Zorro, allí también comencé el estudio de saxofón con los maestros Raúl Mancipe y Carlos Parra, con lo cual logré formar parte de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Boyacá como saxofonista, consolidando mi experiencia en la interpretación instrumental. Posteriormente continué mis estudios de saxofón en Bogotá junto al maestro Julio Arnedo (qepd), y más adelante con el maestro cubano Carlos Averhoff (qepd)), profundizando en técnica, lenguaje y expresión musical. Este camino instrumental me brindó una sólida base para mi trabajo como profesional. Más adelante, amplié mi perspectiva en Goldsmiths, University of London, donde me especialicé en Arreglos para Jazz y Estilos Contemporáneos. Con una amplia experiencia en la enseñanza de la música, he desarrollado procesos pedagógicos que van más allá del aula, formando sensibilidades musicales, promoviendo la creatividad y fortaleciendo el vínculo entre arte y comunidad.
