¡Hola! Soy Nicole, profesora de idiomas, escritora y conferenciante de Barcelona, y creo que aprender un idioma debería ser mucho más que memorizar gramática y vocabulario. Estudié Filología Inglesa en la Universidad de Barcelona y, como quería comprender no solo el idioma, sino también cómo aprendemos, decidí continuar mi formación con un Máster de Formación del Profesorado y un Máster en Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera. A lo largo de los años, he tenido la oportunidad de enseñar en contextos muy diferentes, desde academias e institutos hasta campamentos de verano y el British Council. También he dado charlas a otros profesores en Oxford House sobre cómo incorporar la educación emocional en el aula. Además de dedicarme a la enseñanza, soy escritora y autora de My Feelings and Me. Todas estas experiencias han ido dando forma a mi manera de enseñar. Creo que los idiomas son, ante todo, una forma de conectar con otras personas, expresar nuestras ideas y abrirnos a nuevas oportunidades. Por eso, no quiero que mis alumnos simplemente “sepan” un idioma. Quiero que se sientan capaces de utilizarlo. Por esta razón, adapto mis clases a cada persona y combino diferentes metodologías según tus objetivos, tu personalidad y tu forma de aprender.
