Más de 17 años de experiencia docente y más de 8 años en la industria financiera (banca de inversión, valoración de empresas, reestructuración de deuda, bonos, derivados, análisis cuantitativo, gestión de riesgos) como funcionario a tiempo completo o consultor y desarrollador cuantitativo. Después de terminar mi carrera de contador público (en la que estudié economía, contabilidad, derecho, impuestos, gestión, finanzas, matemáticas y estadística), hice una Maestría en Finanzas. Un profesor de la maestría, que se dedicaba a banca de inversión, me contrató para trabajar con él en Banque Nationale de Paris, Latin American Investment Banking Group. Allí me dediqué, por un lado, al análisis cuantitativo de bonos, derivados y carteras de inversión y, por otro lado, al análisis y valoración de empresas, reestructuración de deudas, fusiones y adquisiciones. Renuncié a ese trabajo para trabajar como profesor de tiempo completo en la Universidad Austral, Argentina, aunque seguí trabajando para el banco un día por semana. Escribí material de estudio de todos los temas que enseñé. Poco después comencé a dar clases de derivados financieros en la maestría de finanzas de la Universidad de San Andrés. Una compañía petrolera a la que habían asesorado en la gestión del riesgo de precio del petróleo y la Universidad Austral financiaron mi Maestría en Matemáticas Aplicadas a las Finanzas en la Universidad de Chicago. Después, el Instituto de Finanzas Matemáticas de Montreal (IFM2) financió mis estudios doctorales. Mi tesis recibió mención de honor y mi investigación fue publicada por revistas académicas que estaban entre las cinco mejores en el área de las finanzas. De regreso a Argentina, enseñé en las universidades arriba mencionadas por 12 años. Ahora trabajos independientemente como consultor y desarrollador y programador de modelos cuantitativos para finanzas.
