Hello! My name is Cheta, and I’m an enthusiastic and passionate online tutor who loves helping children learn, grow, and believe in themselves. For me, teaching is more than just explaining lessons; it’s about making learning enjoyable, building confidence, and helping every student reach their full potential.
I specialise in supporting learners in English and Mathematics, helping them understand difficult concepts, improve their skills, and develop a positive attitude towards learning. I understand that every child is unique. Some students learn quickly, while others need more time, patience, encouragement, and a different approach. That is why I believe every student deserves a learning experience that suits their individual needs.
What makes my classes different is my student-centred approach. I aim to create a friendly, relaxed, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying again without fear. I believe mistakes are part of learning, and I encourage my students to see challenges as opportunities to improve.
In my online classes, I organise lessons according to each student’s level, learning goals, strengths, and areas that need improvement. I begin by understanding what the student already knows and identifying any learning gaps. From there, I plan engaging lessons using clear explanations, practical examples, interactive activities, and exercises to help students understand and remember what they learn. I also monitor their progress and adjust my teaching methods whenever necessary.
I enjoy making lessons interactive and enjoyable rather than overwhelming students with too much information. My goal is not simply to help students get the correct answers but to ensure they understand why an answer is correct and can apply what they have learned independently.
I welcome young learners, beginners, and primary school students who need support with English, Mathematics, reading, comprehension, and foundational academic skills.
