Mathematical Science (PhD), Masters in mathematics, masters in statistics. I’ve taught math on four continents for the past 15 years, and somehow, no one has thrown a calculator at me yet. That’s gotta count for something, right?
Now, before you roll your eyes and think, “Oh no, another math guy,” let me stop you right there. I don’t just teach math. I perform it. My secret sauce? A little something I call Math and Comedy. It’s the only method where you can solve equations and laugh so hard your brain accidentally learns stuff.
In my class, there’s no memorizing 500 formulas or crying over fractions. We do math like normal humans, with jokes, stories, and a good laugh at how absurdly fun numbers can be. Because when you laugh, your brain wakes up. When your brain wakes up, you learn. And when you learn with me, you’ll never forget it, even if you try!
I’ve taught everything from AP Calculus to Cambridge (CIE), IB, and U.S. Common Core, AP statistics, University research work, statistics and trust me, math doesn’t scare me. I’ve seen the wildest equations, the most dramatic word problems, and I’ve survived it all. My students not only pass, they thrive and then they message me years later just to say, “You ruined other math teachers for us.”
Here’s what makes it special: when we work together, you won’t just get math lessons, you’ll get a comedy show that teaches you how to think. You’ll start seeing math everywhere: in music, money, love life… okay, maybe not love life (I haven’t cracked that formula yet).
So, if you’re ready to actually enjoy learning math, to laugh, to understand, and to remember it all without memorizing a thing, then buckle up. Because you’ve never experienced math like this before.
Welcome to Math and Comedy, where formulas meet fun, and your brain goes, “Wait… did I just learn something?”

Hello Students
I am from University of Warwick with 8+ years of research and 2+ years of teaching experience. I have a PhD degree in physics. I've taught secondary school pupils in the past. Whenever I teach physics, I always explain theories and principles by linking them to real-world examples. I'd want to use models to demonstrate concepts and theories in physics. I want to employ chalk and board methods to teach derivations and theories, while PowerPoint slides will be used to demonstrate practical applications of various physical ideas using animation films. I am eager to speak and connect with students, as this will undoubtedly enable me to expand my knowledge and comprehension.

Hi! I'm Ann, and I absolutely love teaching Chemistry. I hold a degree in Procurement and Logistics, but my passion for science led me to tutoring high school Chemistry over the past 4 years. I've helped students who thought they "just weren't science people" gain confidence, improve their grades, and even enjoy the subject! My classes are flexible, friendly, and fully personalized. I use simple explanations, relatable examples, and step-by-step guidance to make complex topics like reactions, equations, and structures easier to grasp. Whether you're preparing for an exam or just want to strengthen your understanding, I’ve got you covered. I specialize in teaching high school students and young adults, but I’m happy to help anyone who wants to improve their Chemistry skills. Let’s work together to make Chemistry something you actually look forward to. I’m excited to meet you!

Hello! My name is judy rutto, and I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic mathematics teacher with over 3 years of experience teaching basic maths to young children. I specialize in making math both meaningful and fun, helping students build a strong foundation in the subject from an early age. My passion lies in guiding children through their first steps in mathematics and showing them that learning numbers can be exciting, not intimidating.
What sets me apart from other teachers is my student-centered and creative teaching style. I believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged, so I design my classes to be dynamic and interactive. I often use games, storytelling, hands-on activities, and visual aids to help students understand mathematical concepts in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. Whether we are learning about shapes, number patterns, or simple word problems, I always aim to connect the lesson to real-life situations so that students can see the purpose and value of what they’re learning.
My classroom is a safe, welcoming space where every child is encouraged to participate, make mistakes, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. I am patient and supportive, and I adapt my lessons to suit different learning styles and needs. I regularly use formative assessments to track progress and give individualized attention to students who may need extra help. I also communicate closely with parents to ensure we’re working as a team in supporting the child’s learning journey.
Professionally, I hold a degree in Education with a specialization in mathematics and have spent the past 3 years working in both public and private elementary schools. I’ve taught students across various levels, from early primary to upper elementary grades. I have also received training in child psychology and inclusive education, which helps me to understand and support diverse learners more effectively.
I am most passionate about teaching young learners in the early stages of their education, typically ages 5 to 11. These formative years are critical for developing not just mathematical skills, but also confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy math and to see themselves as capable problem-solvers—skills they will carry with them for life.
