Cuanta más especificidad haya en tus requerimientos (por ejemplo: resolver ciertos ejercicios, practicar problemas específicos, comprender un tema en particular, etc.), mejor podremos focalizar nuestra sesión. En caso de que no recibiera el temario con anticipación, improvisaremos durante la clase, pero ten en cuenta que esto podría afectar ligeramente el ritmo de la misma. Si necesitas dar clase a una hora concreta que no está disponible, mándame un mensaje a ver si podemos solucionarlo!

I offer classes and tutoring in elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra 1/2, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, calculus AB, and SAT/ACT prep. I am very passionate about teaching and believe anyone can learn math! I love being able to break down a complex idea in a way that is accessible to all learners. I believe being a teacher is becoming a master of such a thing. I am extremely patient and love to use my creativity to explain and create a math experience that will make someone go "aha!". I think math is usually seen as being overly complicated or requiring extensive memorization to become proficient in it, but I believe anyone is capable of learning math and there are so many ways to think about math, to begin with. I try to incorporate all of these ideas and more into my teaching. I graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Mathematics Education. I am a certified math teacher with extensive experience in teaching all math levels and teaching students from a variety of different backgrounds. I excel in helping students with gaps in their math learning as I am able to quickly pinpoint what areas a student needs to go back and learn when they do not understand a specific topic. My methodologies are student-centered and I believe in having the student do as much of the mathematical thinking as possible while I guide them with questions and differentiated instruction when they are stuck. I am patient, love teaching, and am well-versed in all mathematics up to Calculus! I believe all students are capable of doing math, even when they themselves do not think so. With the right guidance and enough time anyone can become a master of the numbers.
