Sono uno studente di informatica presso l'Università di Catania e mi sono specializzato nella programmazione full stack utilizzando le tecnologie Node.js e Vue3. La mia passione per la programmazione è nata dall'interesse per l'elaborazione e la manipolazione di dati, la creazione di applicazioni web dinamiche e la realizzazione di servizi REST.
Ho iniziato la mia formazione creando giochi in Java, che mi hanno permesso di acquisire competenze fondamentali nella programmazione ad oggetti e nella strutturazione di algoritmi complessi. Successivamente, mi sono dedicato allo sviluppo web, imparando i linguaggi HTML e CSS e le librerie di stile come Sass e SCSS. Ho acquisito esperienza nell'utilizzo di framework di sviluppo front-end come Bootstrap 5, Tailwind e Bulma, che mi hanno permesso di creare interfacce utente sofisticate e intuitive.
La mia passione per la programmazione web deriva dalla possibilità di creare applicazioni che possano essere facilmente accessibili da qualsiasi dispositivo connesso ad internet. Inoltre, la programmazione web offre la possibilità di creare applicazioni scalabili e distribuite, che possono essere utilizzate da un grande numero di utenti contemporaneamente.
La mia metodologia di lezione si adatta al livello di programmazione degli studenti che ho di fronte. Grazie alla mia esperienza di studio dei linguaggi di programmazione come Java, C++, JavaScript, HTML, CSS e PHP sin dalle scuole superiori, sono in grado di fornire un supporto personalizzato e mirato per aiutare gli studenti a raggiungere i loro obiettivi di apprendimento.
In genere, durante le lezioni, incentivo gli studenti a mettere in pratica le nozioni teoriche, perché credo che il vero apprendimento si ottenga attraverso l'esperienza diretta. Tuttavia, se necessario, posso fornire supporto teorico in modo da consolidare le conoscenze di base.

After twenty years in the business world working as an operational analyst, I have left my cubicle behind and have pursued education. I really have made a great move for myself as I love tutoring and teaching; I get to work from my home and I get to do what I love. Working in Analytics, I worked heavily with data and databases. I think I have spent most of my working career in MS Excel and have done innumerable things with it. In my work, I was always searching for answers, and SQL is the key computer language to know when looking for data. SQL is deceptively simple and yet so powerful, and I really enjoy using it. Displaying data deserves a good data visualization tool. To complete the picture (pun), you need to visualize data using Power BI.
My philosophy is that I am more of a guide than a teacher. I think the most effective learning is learning where the student is discovering their own answers and for the most part they just need a guide to point them in the right direct direction when they go astray.

As said, fun and learning are complementary , one cannot exist without the other. I informally take professional-level classes, so that my students do not shy out and miss even a single opportunity to learn something new. I believe if one cannot find the “WOW” factor in his/her teaching, how can he/she deliver an “AWESOME” lecture to others. Just Love what you do, others will love your work.
Difference between a professor and a “Good” tutor : -
So what is the factor which separates a “TUTOR” from your class professor?
Well, the answer is simple, it’s all about personalization. A professor can just read/teach the topic to the class and it's over. But for a good Tutor, it is just one of the many jobs he/she does. There are many things a tutor has to take care of: -
1. See the level of understanding of the subject by the student.
2. See the type of teaching the student prefers/loves.
3. See whether the student has an understanding of all other related subjects which are required for this particular course or not. If not, teach him about all the related stuff, which may be outside of the syllabus, but is extremely useful.
4. See if the student needs any advice on how to study, manage his/her time, what is the best method of study, the importance of the current subject, etc.
5. See if the student has other problems unrelated to academics, which is harming him/her, and guide the student.
So next time you see any tutor, compare his/her abilities on these parameters also.
