Hello, everyone! I am Yuting Zhou from China; I can speak standard Mandarin. I have an international background, having studied and worked in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Thailand. I have a degree in Public Management from Sichuan University (Sichuan, China) and a master’s degree in anthropology of food from SOAS, University of London(UK), and a leadership program fellow at East-West Center (Hawaii, US). I have two years of full-time teaching experience for the 7th and 8th-grade students on-site. Teaching Chinese to people from different countries and backgrounds around me and sharing various aspects of Chinese culture has always been my passion. Student-centered is one of my education philosophies; I focus on tailoring my teaching to the student's individual attributes and feedback, helping each student to achieve progress with skills in Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as building confidence at all levels. No matter whether your learning purpose is to prepare for exams, study abroad, or interest, At the same time, I believe that culture plays a crucial role in learning a language; I will share Chinese culture and background with my students so that you can learn more about China. I regard myself as a lifelong learner, and I cannot wait to help my students better understand Chinese culture and experience a real China.
