English for children and teenagers | Grades 1–12 | 8+ years of experience 🌿 Hello! My name is Alise, and I have more than 8 years of experience teaching English and Latvian to schoolchildren. I help children understand how the language works, fill gaps in their knowledge and become more confident and independent learners. Lessons can be adapted to the student’s level, age and individual learning needs. We can work on school topics, grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, speaking and written communication. I also help students prepare for tests and exams by teaching them how to understand and use the material, rather than simply memorising answers. My teaching style is calm, respectful and structured. I explain difficult topics in simple language and use interactive activities and my own teaching materials. I encourage students to ask questions, think, make mistakes and gradually learn to solve problems independently. I can explain difficult concepts in Russian when necessary, while gradually increasing the use of English according to the student’s level.
