Hello! I am Azhaan, doing my M.Tech in Communication, Signal Processing & Learning from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad. My mathematical aptitude led me to offers for MSc in Electronics from Imperial College London, King's College London & University of Bristol. I even scored 100/100 in the Math section of JEE Main - 2021 and was the top scorer all over India in IPMAT 2021. I teach high school mathematics (Applied & Core) and area of expertise are Calculus, Trigonometry, co-ordinate geometry, Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations.
My classes aren’t about rushing through formulas or filling notebooks with steps. They’re experiences carefully designed to spark curiosity, rewire your thinking, and build unstoppable confidence in math.
My classes blend logic and play; where we might explore why sin(90°) = 1, debate over the meaning of slope, or graph quadratic functions like artists.
Backed by my own journey of scoring 100/100 in Math in the most competitive college entrance exam of India called JEE to selections at University of Bristol and Imperial College London, my goal is simple: help you think fearlessly, learn deeply, and maybe even fall in love with math. Because here, it’s not about marks—it’s about mastery.
Mentored and taught a group of 40+ underprivileged 8th, 9th and 10th graders at EkTara NGO, Kolkata, India, for over 3 years. I designed the courses to propel students to analyse and discover multiple pathways to solving, resulting in a 40% increase in student engagement and knowledge retention. I helped my students from rock bottom who went on to become the top scorers in Math in their Grade 9th ICSE and State Boards exams. Moreover, they started to embrace the beauty of the subject and built the confidence to tackle any kind of tough problem, and made sure to take the problem-solving to completion. This resilience was developed through my classes.
