I have been a physics and mathematics tutor since 2015, mentoring hundreds of students, up to university level. Usually, I stick to the following pattern: I start my lesson providing scientific and – possibly – historical background of the subject, making sure that the student has clear why we are tackling that particular issue. After a theoretical explanation of the subject at hand, we turn to the problem sheet. This tests and strengthens the comprehension of the student, and is thus a fundamental part of the lesson. Throughout the lesson, I put effort in involving the student, by asking them questions, by providing examples drawn from real life and by encouraging questions from his side. I believe that my first responsibility is to help students become independent in their studies. I am very easygoing, and I am sure you are going to be happy with my tutoring. Hello! My name is Yasmin, and I am passionate about helping students excel in their studies. With experience in teaching English and Maths to kids through voluntary positions, I specialize in Maths and programming, particularly Python. I can also assist with the basics of using Excel.
During my primary school years, I enjoyed helping my classmates understand challenging Maths concepts. More recently, I've supported my little brother with his homework and helped university classmates with programming in our foundation year.

Bonjour! Je m’appelle Flavy. J’ai fait un Bac S, Spécialité mathématiques et puis une licence en mathématiques. Je suis actuellement professeure de cette matière au collège.
Je sais combien les élèves peuvent se sentir démunis dans cette matière, pourtant je suis persuadée qu’avec quelques clefs en main on peut facilement avoir la moyenne en math… voire exceller!
C’est ce que je peux t’aider à faire. En sortant de chaque heure de cours passée avec moi, tu seras capable d’évaluer ta progression et de savoir ce qu’il te manque pour réussir ton contrôle.
S’il faut revenir 20 fois sur le même concept, explique de 20 manières différentes… on le fera !
Mon but est de te passer les trucs et astuces pour comprendre ce que les professeurs attendent de toi.

Sono un ragazzo di 28 anni, diplomato al liceo scientifico ed ora sto facendo un dottorato di ricerca in ingneria elettronica/fotonica in Germania. Per il dottorato ho avuto ´onore di vincere una Marie Curie PhD Fellowship dall´Unione Europea.
Offro aiuto nelle materie scientifiche ai ragazzi/e delle medie, superiori ed università. Il mio obbiettivo e´aiutare altri studenti nel loro percorso di crescita e comprensione delle materie scientifiche.
Inoltre offro supporto per la stesura di report, tesine e tesi di laurea con il programma Latex.
Il mio approccio è basato prima di tutto sullo studio della parte teorica, che è fondamentale per la piena comprensione della materia. Successivamente applicheremo il tutto a tantissimi esercizi. Naturalmente il mio obbiettivo è che lo studente faccia il prima possibile "a meno di me" e continui il suo percorso di studi in modo autonomo. Studenti che aiutano altri studenti :)
