PRESENTATION: Hello I am Daniel I am a young student in Master 2 Mathematics more precisely in Modeling and Numerical Analysis, I have a big passion for the teaching of all scientific subjects but I am also very literary. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE IN SCHOOL SUPPORT As mentioned in my presentation I am passionate about teaching. tutoring or academic help I have been doing it since my terminal class since I had this ability to understand quickly and this enthusiasm to transmit and explain to my classmates exercises or certain parts of the lessons that they had trouble to understand. besides that I already had the habit of repeating the little ones at home and in my entourage, more and more and continuously until university and passing through centers and agencies in face-to-face private lessons or online it became a routine for me and I found it really fascinating, that's where the love and passion for teaching about the effects of lots of referrals and 95% feedback came from positive (unfortunately you can't be perfect), today I can live and be fulfilled in this area. MY PEDAGOGICAL The most effective method is that of first putting the student in a dimension of confidence and motivation, depending on the objectives of my student we can establish a job to help him carry out his studies well. I am very attentive and very patient, always ready to repeat myself as many times as possible until the expected result is present. MY GOALS WITH Classgap My objectives with the Classgap online course platforms are academic and professional, my main goal is to provide the students who will be assigned to me with a regular survival by implementing teaching methods that will allow students to be fulfilled in their learning and also for parents to be able to observe the progress of their children through checks, tests and examinations at school. Hi! I'm a science tutor currently studying Marine biology at the University of Southampton, with particular experience tutoring in ecology, environmental science, and biology. I have experience working with neurodiverse students and as I myself am neurodiverse I find it easy to relate to - and understand - the way neurodiverse students engage with science and academic subjects. I’m passionate about science, so I endeavour to make lessons fun, engaging, and most of all accessible to students at any confidence level. I would start with a conversation around strengths and weaknesses, both those identified by the student and those identified by past academic work. I teach primarily through visual and auditory mediums, such as diagrams and rephrasing content students find difficult. But I also find it highly effective to do both guided and independent past questions, papers, and homework-like tasks. While I primarily tutor biology for both GCSE and A-level, I am also able to tutor physics and chemistry at GCSE level. My knowledge of these sciences can prove useful in the teaching of another, as there are subjects in one that either link to/affect the topic in another. I take a relatively comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to tutoring where appropriate. I want a student to understand why something happens, not just what happens. This makes effective students for later life, and brilliant scientists in both academic and potential career settings. It also increases knowledge and confidence in a subject, and can be very useful in exam settings. My tutoring style centres more around the student than the traditional schooling system can allow for, and can be either student-led or based on identified gaps in knowledge. While my lessons are reasonably informal, as I find it the best way to ease discomfort and increase active engagement in learning. I would be proposing work to do outside of tutoring sessions, be it: a past paper, creating a short presentation on a topic covered, recording audio for revision etc. As this helps me to identify a students learning style, and also provides opportunities to apply knowledge learned, which is proven to be highly beneficial for retention.
