I try to use a range of resources ranging from pencil and paper to interactive material such as Geogebra. I have access to a tablet for use with the online whiteboard and an HD document camera for demonstrations using pen and paper. With maths in particular, it is important to practise what you have learned on a regular basis so as not to forget it when you learn a new concept. However, it is also important not to be overworked or to let other subjects slip. I am happy to provide my students with an exercise a day to complete between tuition sessions. These exercises are optional and last no more than 15 minutes per day... although if you want more, I can provide that.
