I believe that learning a language should be practical, engaging, and focused on communication. I am particularly well suited to work with Russian-speaking students and speakers of other Slavic languages. As a native Russian speaker with a PhD in Slavic Studies, I understand the specific challenges that Slavic-language speakers face when learning English. I can identify common patterns of error, explain why they occur, and help students avoid them before they become habits.
