My name is Lorenzo Chiarini, I'm 27 years old, and I am a singing teacher, singer, and Music Author. My main passions are music and working with people. I am a dynamic, flexible, and creative guy. My skills are highlighted by the professional experiences gained over the last 3 and a half years. Since October 2020, I have been teaching singing as a freelancer for various schools and musical associations in the area where I operate (Brescia, Lake Garda, and Mantova). The first organization I have been collaborating with for a longer time is the Musical Association Pastorius in Castel Goffredo (MN). I teach students of all ages and levels, aiming to improve vocal technique through exercises using the piano and performance aspects, as the association organizes seasonal events in live music. In addition to teaching singing at the association, I also teach ensemble music, nurturing the growth of emerging bands from the school in terms of arrangement and live performance. In the field of Vocal Coaching, since March 2024, I have been teaching in Brescia for Centro Professione Voce. In this school, I use a vocal coaching approach that aims to find the ideal sound based on the students' voice and timbre. Another important aspect of my vocal coaching approach is correcting body posture during singing. Since the beginning of the year, I have also collaborated with the 16/24 record project at the Garda Music School in Desenzano del Garda. In this recent collaboration, my role is as a musical author (both in terms of music and lyrics) for emerging artists enrolled in the 16/24 project. In terms of Education, I graduated in contemporary composition in London in 2020 from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. Thanks to this experience, I gained access to a contemporary approach to the music world, learning academic modules such as Music Production and Music Business. Sono una cantante professionista con molti anni di esperienza, sia di palco che di insegnamento. Ho studiato canto moderno all'Accademia di Musica Moderna di Modena, con Michele Luppi. Ho frequentato il Corso di Alta Formazione (ora Master) in Vocologia Artistica, oltre a moltissimi seminari e corsi di aggiornamento, tra cui il Voice To Teach, corso internazionale per insegnanti di canto, con esame finale e inserimento nel registro dedicato. Il mio repertorio è molto vasto e spazia dal rock, al pop, alla dance. La mia formazione come Operatrice Olistica mi permette di rapportarmi con l'allievo considerando tutti i suoi aspetti. L'emotività ha un forte impatto sulla resa di un cantante, quindi per me è importante accompagnare l'allievo non solo con la tecnica vocale ma anche valutando tutto quello che circonda una performance: emotività, postura, presenza scenica, interpretazione, ecc. La mia lezione è strutturata sulle esigenze di ogni allievo, in base al livello di partenza e agli obiettivi che si vogliono raggiungere. Generalmente si dedica la prima parte alle tecniche di riscaldamento vocale. Nella seconda parte si approfondisce la tecnica vocale, con esercizi mirati, per fare in modo che si acquisisca sempre più padronanza della propria voce. La terza parte è dedicata alla preparazione del repertorio più adatto all'allievo, secondo le inclinazioni e i gusti individuali. Nella fase di preparazione accompagno l'allievo con la chitarra, in modo da poter approfondire il brano in ogni sua parte. Non ho un metodo standard valido per tutti, ma strutturo il percorso di apprendimento basandomi su esigenze ed attitudini di ogni allievo, in quanto ognuno è unico.

I perform as a soloist and as a chamber musician. I have been awarded first prizes at international competitions several times and regularly perform in classical and jazz/pop formations. Beginners, advanced violinists and aspiring violin students are in good hands with me. All aspects of violin playing such as technique, intonation, register playing, vibrato etc. including compositions from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries are integrated as well as modern styles from the 20th or 21st centuries. Playing the violin should be fun for my students, so in addition to the technique of playing, musical expression is also taught with this versatile instrument. I approach my younger students with creativity and empathy. Ambitious students learn the classical and romantic violin literature required for their studies. I have over 3 years of teaching experience, mainly in person, but also online. I am a 1-1 music tutor and teach both acoustic and electric guitar. The format of my lessons is very basic, but it works. We start off a normal lesson by playing some warm up exercises. After that, we simply work on whatever it is you want, whether that is learning a new song, a new style, preparing for a music grade exam, learning about the fretboard and music theory, the list goes on. If you aren't sure about the next thing to do, or I'm teaching a younger student, I will provide material for us to work through which will improve overall playing and competence. I believe in being patient with my students and listening to what their goals are. You will never feel pressured in one of my lessons and above all, they are kept light-hearted and fun! I can't guarantee you'll play like your idols after a few lessons, but I can guarantee that if you put the work in and practice alongside taking my lessons, you will be one step closer!
