Hello! My name is Rosalind Hayes and I am a vocal, piano, guitar, ukulele and composition instructor from Pennsylvania.. I have been teaching since 2013 and have a four times awardwinning music business in the center of Downingtown. Currently I teach over 100 students a week, as well as hosting virtual masterclasses and workshops with guest speakers that are industry leaders. I have collaborated with other business owners to aid my current students with getting headshots and professional recording for their lessons. We perform throughout the community on a regular basis. I teach students from all over the world and opened my first commercial location in 2020. I also moderate and wrote content for a 6 month vocal course through Tonara, a multimillion dollar music app, and I was selected out of 500 vocal teachers for this project. My students have gone on to master performances in their community, college auditions and even careers! I even helped one write a song which won a competition and was performed in front of the cast of Hamilton. I love what I do, it is so empowering to help students explore their emotions and identity through music, that's my purpose and that's why I'm here.

Sono specializzato in composizione applicata per immagini, composizione classica, orchestrazione, arrangiamento ed orchestrazione virtuale (programmazione midi). L’amplio uso di software e del pc è ormai una competenza necessaria per il musicista moderno e questo mi permette di affrontare l'insegnamento della produzione musicale, della composizione ai vari livelli, e dell'orchestrazione virtuale e pratica con un approccio completo ed immersivo. Nel corso del mio percorso ho avuto l'opportunità di lavorare in diversi ambiti della produzione musicale, tra cui film, documentari, videogiochi e animazione. Queste esperienze mi hanno permesso di acquisire una prospettiva unica sulle applicazioni pratiche della musica, che sono pronto di condividere con gli studenti. Credo fermamente nell’importanza dell'educazione musicale necessaria per motivazione gli studenti e potarli a scelte consapevoli, incoraggiando loro a esplorare e sviluppare la propria voce musicale. La mia filosofia di insegnamento si concentra su un approccio creativo e supportivo, promuovendo al contempo la tecnica e la comprensione dell'industria musicale.

I'm an Anglo/ Italian Soprano with over 17 years of singing experience and am based in the UK and the South of France. My singing career includes performing in front of the Monaco Royal Family and private events with Aston Martin. With my passion for music and desire to forge new sounds, I have created a number of my own pieces which have included the merging of the classical world and modern genres. My unique technique enables the singer to create richness and depth to their voice, expanding their range and capabilities whilst maintaining their stylistic identity. In just a short time, I can assist you with developing your sound whilst releasing tension and discomfort. I also specialise in being able to add flexibility, height and comfort to your vocals. I also have a technique which can help those struggling to find strength in their voice when public speaking or performing. Vocal fatigue is something that is very normal but can also be prevented through specially guided warm ups and techniques. My 2 decades of intensive classical training has meant that I have spent many many hours researching and exploring my own sound and voice, resulting in me knowing exactly where each note should be placed. Once this technique is adopted you will be able to sing any genre with ease at any given time.

Ich war zuvor als Lehrbeauftragte an der Victoria University of Wellington (Fachbereich Gesang) tätig. Davor unterrichtete ich Gesang als freiberufliche Dozentin am Scots College. Außerdem unterrichte ich Gesang an der Encore School of Music am Onslow College und am Wellington College. Die letzten drei Monate habe ich in den USA verbracht und in Kalifornien mit gefährdeten Jugendlichen Musikunterricht gegeben. Nach meiner Rückkehr nach Neuseeland über London und New York hatte ich das Glück, weltweit aufzutreten und zu unterrichten, unter anderem freiberuflich für die Rata School of Music, Encore und die Rock Academy. Mir wurde kürzlich eine Dozentenstelle an der Victoria University of Wellington angeboten. Ich bin eine erfahrene, engagierte und innovative Lehrerin mit einem großen Schülerstamm aller Altersgruppen, Niveaus und Genres. Ich arbeite sowohl persönlich als auch virtuell mit Solosängern, Gruppen und Chören. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, Teil Ihres hochqualifizierten und kooperativen Teams von erfahrenen Lehrkräften zu werden.
