Hello! I’m Sarah and I’m a Classical Soprano in my final year at the Royal Northern College of Music. I would describe myself as open, vibrant, and engaging. I have extensive experience in live classical and operatic performance and received a distinction in my Grade 8 singing exam, as well as 3 A* at A-Level, including A-Level music. I am an experienced tutor, currently teaching 6 students and happy to take on more. I am also well-versed in coaching students through ABRSM exams. I am accustomed to all levels of singers and am very happy to teach both children and adults. I am both Queer and Neurodivergent friendly, having worked as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities for 3 years alongside my studies. I have three albums to my credit as a songwriter and many participations in festivals and concerts of national importance. I play electric, acoustic and classical guitar. My teaching method is focused on the student, on what he would most like to learn. Based on this I formulate a program to allow you to reach your goals in the shortest possible time and in a fun way. Whether you want to learn the basics of the guitar, or you want to deepen harmony, scales, arpeggios, improvisation, composition and much more - using an innovative and effective method - these lessons are for you. To facilitate learning I use professional software designed to better memorize chords, songs, scales and concepts. At the end of the lesson, which lasts sixty minutes, you will receive audio, video, pdf, jpg etc material to be able to study and deepen the content of the lessons independently, and then rework it together with the next appointment. In this way you will be led by the hand and you will learn many things without too much effort. However, constant application on the instrument is required for maximum results. Being a singer as well as a guitarist, I can help singers who want to build a repertoire and accompany themselves, arranging the songs in such a way as to be complete and enjoyable even if played only with one instrument. The guitar course is suitable for all ages, from about six years up to ... a hundred! Because the age in this process is relatively important. It is much more important to have passion and to nurture the desire to learn and go further.

Hi, I have been passionate about music since I was young; I learned the guitar first and then other instruments like bass, keyboard and vocals to record myself and create my own tracks. I have a lot of experience playing with rock, soul, funk and electro music in bands and I am open to all styles. Today I would like to share my achievements with students curious to learn an instrument and progress quickly so that playing music becomes a pleasure. For guitar lessons and Digital Audio Workstations. First I have to check the level of the student to assess his specific needs. If his instrument has chosen is suitable, learning will be easier, so I find out about the instruments at his disposal, a metronome is also recommended to train properly. By choosing together a song as support we can start the lessons. I can advise on all the tools related to the guitar, tuning, settings, position. My method is as playful as possible, as little theory as possible and above all the practice of the instrument by the student. To vary the exercises, I can do a course on rhythm during a class or study specific parts of the studied piece to prepare to play it perfectly. I conceive my own methods to transcribe easily the structure of the songs that we can play, it allows a bit like the tablatures not to have to know music theory on the fingertips. Also, for the scales I designed a very playful and easy to remember method to be able to quickly progress and play the first improvised solos. I have been playing the guitar for over 20 years, and I am comfortable on acoustic, electric, and electro-acoustic. Because I have played in bands I know all that is necessary to play with several people to stay in sync and listen to other players. I also practice singing, and it's very useful for accompanying oneself on the guitar and doing covers. I am also interested in instrument settings and adjustments, which is practical if an instrument has a problem or needs to be adjusted, which makes it easier to use, especially for beginners. Also interested in Digital Audio workstations, I master these tools well, which allows me to teach, wiring, effects, and all related tools.
