Diplomata con lode in Canto Lirico presso il Conservatorio di Napoli, ho studiato Bel Canto con vari cantanti di fama internazionale, come Maria Dragoni e Gianluca Terranova. Ho studiato privatamente Canto Moderno, e ho approfondito la tecnica Musical e Legit con Barbara Cola e Giulia Luzi, maturando varie esperienze teatrali. Attualmente frequento il corso di Vocalità artistica, foniatria e canto. Sono insegnante e musicista professionista a tempo pieno: mi esibisco con formazioni di classica, contemporanea, mpb e latin jazz, sperimento, ricerco.. ma soprattutto metto la mia esperienza al servizio di chi vuole scoprire, migliorare e valorizzare la propria voce. Ho esperienze di insegnamento con principianti, professionisti della voce, e propedeutica per bambini dai 7 anni in su. Il metodo che applico consta di due punti fondamentali: la spiegazione e l'esemplificazione dei concetti, per un approccio assolutamente pratico. Tutto il resto è molto flessibile e tiene conto delle tue esigenze. Dedicheremo una prima parte della lezione al riscaldamento vocale e alla tecnica, una seconda parte allo studio del repertorio. Quest'ultimo verrà scelto insieme, tenendo in considerazione le tue predisposizioni vocali e il tuo gusto. Sono inoltre disponibile alla preparazione di ammissioni a corsi pre-accademici e lauree di primo livello in Canto Lirico e Pop.

Hi, I’m Mevin! I’m a piano and keyboard tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Music, majoring in piano, from Christ University. I’m also a Trinity College of London certified pianist, and I’ve been teaching for the past 3 years. Over this time, I’ve had the joy of working with students of all age groups — from young beginners taking their very first steps in music to advanced learners looking to refine their skills. What makes my classes different is the way I structure them. I truly believe every student is unique, so I design my lessons to be student-oriented. That means I focus on your interests and goals while also giving you the important musical foundation that every pianist needs. Think of it as a balance between what you want to play and what you need to learn to become a well-rounded musician. Each class is divided into four parts to keep things engaging and productive. We start with technical aspects — exercises, scales, and finger techniques that strengthen your playing. Then we move into notation reading, where we explore Western classical pieces that improve sight-reading and help you understand music on the page. The third part is completely student-focused, so we can work on songs or styles you love, or any area you want to develop further. Finally, we end with ear training, which sharpens your ability to recognize melodies, chords, and rhythms by ear — a skill every musician should have. I teach in both English and Malayalam, so you can learn in the language you’re most comfortable with. My aim is always to create a fun, encouraging space where you can feel confident, curious, and inspired to practice. I don’t just want you to learn the piano — I want you to enjoy the process and fall in love with making music. Whether you’re a beginner dreaming of playing your first song or an advanced player looking to polish your performance, I’d love to guide you on your musical journey. With the right balance of structure, creativity, and encouragement, we’ll work together to help you grow as a pianist while having fun along the way.
