My teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in a rich, hands-on journey that began in traditional, offline classrooms and tutoring sessions. This foundational experience, instructing a remarkably diverse range of students from early childhood to adulthood, has been my greatest teacher. It moved me beyond a one-size-fits-all curriculum and revealed a fundamental truth: the most profound and effective learning occurs not when we teach a subject, but when we teach the student. I strive to create a comfortable environment in which students are free to ask questions and express what they think and share their rules/ideas. I have taught at various levels of education due to my experience; for example, I have successfully taught students from a junior secondary level to a senior secondary level in schools and in preparation for localised and international examinations. I do not view myself as a traditional teacher; I am a teacher who combines traditional methods of teaching, using newer tools, for the best possible outcomes.
As educators, a lot of us are engaged in curriculum writing and development in different areas of education. I have academic research published and have developed academic content, primarily in the context of science education, as well. In addition, I also use technology in my own practice and data about my students to employ methods where I can engage my students quickly and efficiently while continuing to support their learning needs.
