As educators, a lot of us are engaged in curriculum writing and development in different areas of education. I have academic research published and have developed academic content, primarily in the context of science education, as well. In addition, I also use technology in my own practice and data about my students to employ methods where I can engage my students quickly and efficiently while continuing to support their learning needs.
The students I am most interested in working with are at the junior and senior secondary school levels and anyone embarking on their way to write a maths or science proficiency exam. I am committed to helping you establish a foundation of learning so you can develop or build your edge academically!

Hi, I’m Owen! I make maths clear, logical, and enjoyable, helping students build understanding and confidence while improving their grades.
My lessons are personalised and interactive, combining step-by-step explanations, practice problems, and exam-style questions. Each session starts with a quick recap, followed by guided practice, independent problem-solving, and ends with tips to keep progressing.
I have a Mathematics & Economics degree from Lancaster University and two years of tutoring experience, plus seven years working with young people, giving me the skills to create supportive and effective lessons.
I teach GCSE and A-Level students, as well as anyone wanting to strengthen their maths foundation.
