I hope you are hanging in there. I am a 2019 Duke University- Fuqua School of Business, Master of Management Studies Graduate. I cleared my SAT exam with a very high score in the Math section and GMAT exam with 47/50 in Quant Section. Since 2012, I have been tutoring, mentoring and helping middle school, high school and undergraduate students achieve their desired grades. I strongly believe my grip and knowledge in Economics and Mathematics is very strong.
Over the years, my concepts and teaching style for these 2 disciplines has been polished a lot and now I possess the ability to effectively pass on my knowledge to my students. I prefer one on one tutoring sessions with my students because it truly helps me identify their problems and understand why they are struggling with the discipline. Also, it helps me gauge their knowledge in the discipline.
My teaching style is slightly different than the modern style of teaching which involves throwing a lot of the burden on the students in terms learning on their own from textbooks and notes. I strongly believe that it is an absolute must that a strong foundation in a discipline is made before the student is challenged. Therefore, I do a lot of spoon feeding till the time I am confident that my students have built a solid foundation and grasped the concepts. From there, I take the modern style approach and take my students to deep waters where they are challenged and built confidence in the discipline.
Whenever, I take any student on board I provide them with content, notes and questions which I developed over the past 10 years. I have a lot of math problems solved with me. Also, I have compiled a lot of study material and notes. I believe studying 1 hour a day could make you an exceptional math problem solver. I require hard work and patience from your end.
Furthermore, I have few formal teaching experiences in which I taught SAT Math section classes and Statistics to a classroom of 50 plus students.

With about three years of teaching experience in mathematics, including familiarity with the UK National Curriculum, I have also worked as an independent tutor since 2015, catering to diverse student needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN). I have worked with over 500 pupils.

I believe that it is every teacher's responsibility to protect pupils from danger, abuse, or neglect. It is a legal and moral obligation that teachers must be conscious of. This entails being on the lookout for indicators of abuse or neglect, being aware of the reporting process, and actively encouraging a culture of safety inside the school.
Moreover, I recognize the paramount importance of safeguarding students' well-being, This includes not just scholastic achievement but also one's emotional, social, and physical well-being. When it comes to pupils' mental health, I pay close attention to it, create a safe and nurturing environment, and provide resources or referrals to other services as necessary. Therefore, a teacher's comprehension of student welfare and safety is essential to establishing a supportive and secure learning environment where every student can flourish intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
I have experience working with numerous SEN students who struggle with reading and writing, and attention deficits. In each case, I approach them with patience and avoid being rude or hasty. When a student struggles with reading and writing, I take a slow and supportive approach, helping them at their own pace. With autistic students, I strive to discover their interests and relate the subject matter to those interests. Each situation requires a unique approach, but my priority is always to support the students with understanding and patience.
In 2016, I volunteered to work in a one-day counseling camp as a counselor trainee. This event took place at Kalutara Central College, Sri Lanka. Here, I had to counsel young students with hyperactive behavior. Furthermore, I also had the privilege to be a counselor trainee in the two-day counseling camp at Darul Arkam Orphanage Bandaragama, Sri Lanka. Here, I had to counsel young children with various mental health issues and illnesses. Working at counseling camps taught me how to take a step back from a situation, see the big picture, and put stressful situations into perspective, a skill I have carried over into other aspects of my life. Together with this, I learned some of the most beneficial qualities which include empathy, patience, adaptability, enthusiasm, creativity, cultural competence, and compassion. I am genuinely grateful for these experiences since all of them molded me into the fabulous teacher I am today.
Beyond teaching, I immerse myself in an array of diverse extracurricular pursuits that enrich my life. From capturing moments through photography to delving into the depths of human behavior with psychology, Research fuels my curiosity, while traveling opens doors to new cultures and perspectives. Sono un ingegnere iunior abilitato con laurea in Ingegneria Industriale. Dopo anni di liceo dove non ero uno studente modello, entrato all'università, ho compreso il linguaggio matematico, imparando ad usarlo con molta dimestichezza. Ho già esperienza in ambito delle lezioni private dal 2017 con ottimi risultati in termini di resa scolastica di chi ho seguito, spiegando i concetti fondamentali con semplicità e portando a studiare più a logica che a memoria. Il mio approccio con l' alunno è quello di spiegare i concetti matematici con esempi e con estrema semplicità, sono stato anche io uno studente, e non brillavo in matematica, ma l'aver compreso le nozioni vedendole in altre maniere e spiegate con semplicità e ragionamenti logici mi ha permesso di comprendere a pieno la matematica.
