Hi, I'm Yasum. I have recently graduated from the university of Leicester with a masters degree in Physics with Astrophysics. For the past 5 or so years, I have been doing Maths tutoring (for people doing GCSE and A-level Maths) as a side hustle, and look to continue sharing my knowledge with others on the Classgap learning platform. I have experience of tutoring both in-person and remotely online. I like to organize my classes based on the ideas and concepts that a student needs help on. Depuis mon enfance, j'ai toujours adoré les mathématiques, J'étais toujours très attentive aux méthodes utilisées par les professeurs et pour les apprendre, et maintenant je les utiliser avec mes élèves. J'ai toujours réussi à créer une relation de confiance avec mes élèves, même avec ceux qui ont une peur panique des mathématiques. Mon secret ? Ma méthode d'enseignement est basée sur des travaux dirigés, ce qui signifie que je ne résous pas les problèmes à la place de mes élèves, mais plutôt je les guide pour qu'ils trouvent la solution par eux-mêmes. Les mathématiques ne s'apprennent pas simplement en écoutant un professeur, mais plutôt en pratiquant. C'est pourquoi j'encourage mes élèves à travailler de manière autonome en utilisant leur propre raisonnement et leurs propres compétences. Je suis là pour les aider à surmonter les obstacles, à clarifier les concepts et à les encourager à avancer, mais c'est l'élève qui doit faire l'effort de résoudre les problèmes.
Il est important de souligner que mes cours particuliers en mathématiques sont dispensés en ligne. Je suis disponible pour enseigner aux étudiants où qu'ils soient, grâce à des outils modernes de communication. Mes cours sont interactifs et dynamiques, et je suis en mesure de fournir à mes élèves tout le matériel et les ressources nécessaires pour qu'ils puissent apprendre efficacement en ligne. I'm an international qualified teacher with experience teaching IB Maths and Computer Science, GCSE maths and Computer Science, the American math and computer science curriculum and the Canadian math and computer science curriculum.
I have a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Computer Science and I've taught in international schools around the world for 15 years including the International School Manila, the American School of Madrid and Koç High School in Istanbul. I've taught the IB maths curriculum, the American maths curriculum, the Spanish exam preparatory curriculum and the Canadian maths curriculum. I am a certified maths and computer science teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers in Canada and I have qualified teacher status in England and Wales in mathematics and computer science.
I also taught English while living in Taiwan for three years and I continue to tutor English reading, writing, listening, understanding and speaking.
