Hello! I'm Scott Fleming. Until recently I worked at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln and have been teaching sociology for over 30 years. My background is mainly in the sociology of sport, leisure and education - I have a PhD and was made a professor in 2007. I like to bring my teaching to life with real world examples (some from my own research) and with the kinds of sociological problems that are all around us. I plan my sessions with a focus on the needs of the students and try to use contemporary media sources to illustrate key themes and issues.
