Hello! My name is Joanna Becker and I am focused on researching and improving my own artwork and helping others do the same. I aspire to study and teach different methods of art creation as a lifelong scholar in Lancaster, PA. In this city, I co-own the Arts Dojo Bushi and Brush, where I teach both martial and visual arts as an extension of my devotion to learning and helping others learn. I am available to teach illustration, art creation, oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, pastel painting, digital painting, photography, crafts, design, technical drawing, pencil drawing, colored pencil art, marker art, charcoal drawing, pen and ink, photo editing, 2D animation, character design, prop design, concept art, costume design, and visual development. I can also do basic overviews of art fundamentals, and critiques of your current/previous work. I’m familiar with many different art programs as well, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, other Adobe suite products, Clip Studio Paint, and can give recommendations for tools to suit your budget if needed. My lesson plans are specific to you, and I am available through email to answer questions at any time between our meetings.
