Liza
Hello,
The subjects I teach are French, FLE (French as a Foreign Language), English, and homework help for elementary and middle school students, as well as preparation for the French Baccalauréat exam.
I offer adapted materials such as photocopies, textbooks, and the use of French, English, and Spanish dictionaries. I have been teaching for over five years, including three years with an agency in Nantes.
The first session focuses on reviewing methodology, how the student organizes their studies, their way of learning, and how they file their lessons. Then, I explain my teaching approach.
I work with a large slate as a board, I provide notebooks for photocopies, and I show some videos for the lessons—especially for English.
The lessons also include some exercises so that I can check whether the student has properly understood the material.
I prepare students for assessments, teach study-sheet methodology, and use flashcards to help with memorization. Literature and theatre are also included in the program to foster cultural knowledge.
I can offer lessons in English as well as Spanish, both in written and/or oral form.
I speak English very well, as I have family in the United States and Central Europe. I have made numerous trips to the United States, Spain, Greece, and Serbia.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Language Sciences with a specialization in FLE, as many people struggle with language learning—particularly allophone students and migrants coming from neighboring or more distant countries.
I enjoy studying, improving, and sharing my knowledge and skills. I am committed to fighting academic failure and supporting those returning to education.
