Priscilla
Hello! I'm Priscilla, a Biology and Life Sciences educator with over 10 years of teaching experience at secondary and university levels. I hold a BSc in Plant Biology and Biotechnology, a Master of Education in Science Education and a TEFL certification. This means I don't just know Biology deeply, I'm formally trained in how to teach it effectively.
Biology has always been my first love. From the moment I started studying Plant Biology at university I knew this was my calling and that passion shows up in every single lesson I teach.
What makes my classes different? I don't believe in rote memorisation. Instead I use a constructivist approach where I start from what you already know, connect new concepts to real world examples you can relate to and build your understanding step by step until everything clicks naturally. I use visual diagrams, structured notes, past exam questions and interactive digital whiteboards to keep lessons engaging and focused.
I teach students at secondary and university levels preparing for GCSE, A-Level, IB, AP Biology and university courses. Whether you're completely lost in cell biology, struggling with metabolic pathways or just need exam technique help, I've got you covered.
