I have been a physics and mathematics tutor since 2015, mentoring hundreds of students, up to university level. Usually, I stick to the following pattern: I start my lesson providing scientific and – possibly – historical background of the subject, making sure that the student has clear why we are tackling that particular issue. After a theoretical explanation of the subject at hand, we turn to the problem sheet. This tests and strengthens the comprehension of the student, and is thus a fundamental part of the lesson. Throughout the lesson, I put effort in involving the student, by asking them questions, by providing examples drawn from real life and by encouraging questions from his side. I believe that my first responsibility is to help students become independent in their studies. I am very easygoing, and I am sure you are going to be happy with my tutoring. Sono uno studente e quindi molto vicino alle esigenze degli altri studenti. Sono molto comprensivo e paziente e nel corso dei miei 5 anni alle superiori posso dire di aver avuto degli ottimi professori di matematica che mi hanno dato forti basi e ritengo quindi di poter aiutare ragazzi un po’ in difficoltà, inoltre ,adesso, con il mio percorso universitario sto rafforzando le mie competenze. Le lezioni saranno il meno pesante possibile, partendo da una lettura veloce della teoria per fissare i concetti. Passeremo poi all’applicazione della teoria attraverso esercizi del libro dello studente o presi dal mio libro di matematica. Possiamo anche fare delle applicazioni reali per comprendere l’utilità della lezione svolta.
