Violín, Música

Hello! My name is Nick, and I've been teaching violin online for more than 4 years. I graduated as Violin Pedagogue from Anton Rubinstein Higher Institute of Art in Moldova Republic. I teach students of all levels and ages. I help them stop being frustrated and confused about violin learning. My goal is to break down violin concept for you in the most simple, understandable and efficient way. Many students simply do not know what they're doing and how they're supposed to when learning violin. So they keep walking in circles without seeing much of progress and satisfaction. My approach is based on making the violin journey for you simple and clear whether you're beginner of advanced student. Many people unfortunately do not start or stop studying violin due to generally one reason - they find it too difficult and start getting frustrated. The truth is simple: the student should not feel stressed when learning violin and enjoy the process. Every step of violin studying should feel easy and understandable for each student. After years of teaching, I learned that there's nothing more important for teacher than being honest and sincere towards the student. That's why I strive to help student not only in particular situation but on a large scale as well. You may feel bad and visit doctor to get some medicaments to feel better, but the effect is temporary so soon you feel bad again. In order to feel truly better, the doctor should search for the cause of your condition and deal with the root cause. Similarly, when studying an instrument, you can fix something and it might even work for a while but it will come back if the root cause is not found and not fixed in a first place. And this is my goal - identifying root causes and working on their solutions with you, providing you with personalized guidance. I'm convinced that studying violin has to be done properly, especially for beginners so no bad habits will be acquired. The learning process should be logical, structured and organized so student is conscious about the process and can concentrate on the exact goals. Besides, In my method I teach students to produce a good sound from the very first lessons. Every student can establish or improve their sound simply knowing and applying right proportions. Such proportion rules are laid in the developing of fundamental techniques which as a result contribute to a decent sound. Some of these important techiques are: bow grip, pulling of the bow, right arm mechanics, left hand finger technique, string crossings, bow changes and so on. Someone may assume that it's already too late to start or improve at violin. In reality, no matter the age, every person has ability to analyze and make changes. Every person has ability to comprehend and apply information. This is where improvement comes from and it does not depend on the age, background or even a talent. My methodology is based on a mix of different violin schools, from which I try to take the best ideas and implement into my teaching methods. Some of them are Galamian method, Yankelevich, Mazel, Yampolsky. Depending on the needs and level, I provide my students with practicing materials, for example Schradieck, Sevcik, Wohlfahrt, Kayser, Kreutzer, Dounis and etc.

LEZIONI DI PIANOFORTE CLASSICO E MODERNO, TEORIA E SOLFEGGIO, ARMONIA. Buongiorno!

My name is Johari Gardner, and I love music! I have been a musician for over a decade, with 15 years of experience playing drums, 8 years on bass, 5 years on guitar and piano, and I've recently started learning saxophone and trombone. I have played drums and percussion in a few professional settings, as well as at many colleges and universities around the world. I am also a university student, studying to get my Master's in Music Performance. I have performed in professional settings with many notable people, such as David Benoit and Earl Klugh. My specialty is in jazz music, however, I have ample experience in all genres of music. I can read sheet music, and excel in all-things music. I also produce music, and have been making hip-hop, pop, r&b, and afrobeats for 4 years. Below are some notable things I have done. I have been teaching music theory for 5 years and drums for 4. I will begin to teach music production in the near future, as well. If there's one thing that I've learned from teaching, it's that it is very important for a student and teacher to have a strong bond that allows for a student to feel comfortable asking questions. All students have their own way of learning, and one of my primary teaching methods is repeating and rephrasing, so I can appeal to many different learning styles. Students have many different ways of receiving information, and I want to cater to that. Some notable things that I have done: 🥁Asia America Symphony Orchestra, with Grammy award winners David Benoit and Earl Klugh 🥁Music Production with Grammy award producer Dave Wilder ('I try" by Macy Gray) 🥁Music Production with Artist 'Apropos' in Detroit, Michigan 🥁Jazz Band for the President of Long Beach City College, received Letter of Recognition 🥁Mentoring children in jazz music with Barry Cogart, and Grammy award nominee Albert Alva Some fun facts and unrelated hobbies: 🎮I'm a gamer! I love playing all types of games, like Minecraft, Valorant, Fortnite, Pokémon, etc. ⚽I played soccer (football for the rest of the world) at the Long Beach State University Men's Club 👨‍🍳-I almost went to school for culinary arts, and actually did study computer science, before I changed my major - and in turn my life - to music!

I am a master teacher focusing on the classical repertoire along with the very strong approach to improvisation. I am really helping each single student to achieve their interests in music rather than focusing on teaching one particular method. I just take a very similar approach to the Suzuki method but instead of teaching out of the method books I teach mixture of exercises and pieces that I believe are more fun and accessible to today student of any age. Classes are tailored to the needs of any particular student and constantly evolving. I am a true believer that this also helps understanding and love of classical music. A huge range of students come as beginners and left as a young artists as well as adult students Who came to learn piano and have found that they can perform professionally. And plus have a great deal of Fun! I also guide my students in the curriculum and exams of the Royal Conservatory program. Exams are offered twice a year. Also my students participating in Junior festivals and community recitals. I have also been a judge for Lake Central Junior festival which held in University of central Florida for over 8 years and an assistant for RC exams. Creativity and love of music are the key elements that I encourage in every single student. With my teaching skills and over 20 years of experience I am taking each single student beyond their own expectation while helping them to achieve their own goals. Bio: I am a professional pianist, teacher and composer. Because of my through knowledge and experience with music I can teach all ages and levels an array of important subjects including piano, music theory, , improvisation, composition, music history. My goal with every single student to incorporate all those subjects into my piano lessons so that every student gains a through understanding of music and become a well- rounded musician.
