I am a pianist and piano teacher with experience with pupils aged five to fourteen, and with adults.
Music is relaxing, promotes emotional well-being, and learning an instrument helps to develop different skills such as communication, adaptability, problem solving, because are connected with the emotions.Musicality and its development is closely connected with emotions, which the student learns to know, express and manage through music.
I feel joy in sharing knowledge and love for music with my students and seeing their musical progress and their discovery of their abilities and of themselves, because coming into direct contact with music, it also means discovering yourself.
I started playing the piano at six years of age and I have played in various chamber ensembles and in piano recitals. I started teaching piano lessons 10 years ago . I have a Bachelor in piano and a Master degree in teaching of music and of the instrument, a path that allowed me to experience music, deepen it, share it with others. For me it was a gift to have the opportunity to come into direct contact with music, to learn an instrument. It is a wonderful experience and I hope it will be for you too.
METHODOLOGY
My methodology is based on the idea of creating and maintaining a pleasant and enthusiastic atmosphere during the lesson, to facilitate your sense of autonomy and personal control over what you learn.
I will teach you to play the piano both by ear and by reading a sheet music, through the knowledge of musical notes, teaching you how to read and write a score, chords and musical scales.
Through piano pieces and exercises I will give you support in your technical and musical development in different musical genres. The material used during the lessons will be chosen both by me and by the student, to give space to your musical choices and preferences.
The lessons are aimed at beginners and intermediates, and people of all ages. Piano lessons are based on a friendly attitude where the study program is chosen according to the level and preferences of the student. During the study there will be proposals for performance improvement, which are positive feedback to encourage you to achieve new musical goals.
I can teach you in English or Italian, in case you would like to learn a new language.
