I’ve been working in music for over ten years, both as a teacher and a professional musician. Since graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in 2010, I’ve taught piano to people of all ages and abilities — from complete beginners to advanced players — in a mix of styles and settings. As a musician and composer, I was thrilled to be nominated for a BASCA British Composer Award in 2018, and my original projects (The Sorcerers, Johnny Richards & Dave King, Shatner's Bassoon) I have been featured on BBC Radio 2, 3, and 6. I’ve also had the chance to tour across Europe and perform at some amazing festivals along the way. My experience as both a performer and teacher has really shaped how I approach music — I love helping others learn, create, and perform in a way that feels inspiring and true to them, whatever their style.
