"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire" I'm from a wild and beautiful place called the Garden Route which is a coastal region in South Africa. I hold an honours degree in Psychology and a postgraduate in Psychometry and Foundation Phase Education. I am interested in the human psyche, life-coaching, photography, art, yoga, hiking, gardening, travelling and and health. I'm passionate about adult education and have an unwavering dedication to assisting student in attaining their language goals. If you are taking the next step in your career or in any other sphere in your life and you need to brush up on your English and improve your confidence then you've come to the right place. Whatever your needs are we'll be able to address them here. I am passionate about holistic, student-centered education and believe that learning should be fun, interactive and relevant to the life-world of each student. You are unlike anyone else, and your goals and aspirations are unique, which is why an individual approach is essential in creating a plan that will bring you closer to your life goals and ultimately help you attain them. No one student is the same and lessons need to be adapted according to your exact needs, be it a presentation, an interview, small talk, exam preparations, improving your fluency and accuracy, even upgrading your level. I aim to create a classroom atmosphere that is comfortable, interactive and structured. The communicative approach is a great way to practice and consolidate your grammatical knowledge base, improve accuracy and fluency whilst expanding your vocabulary and use of collocations and idioms. Alternatively structured lessons are available as many external resources may be used to facilitate your learning journey. I understand how daunting it may be in this fast paced world to get started and to step out of one's comfort zone, but you'll be in good hands. Ultimately I am your coach and I will guide you and instill confidence. In sum, I create a structured, goal orientated, secure online space where you, the student, will be able to make mistakes, practice and succeed.
