Hello! I am Malou. I am from the Philippines. I am located at Cebu City. I speak English, Sinugbuanong Binisaya/Bisaya, and Tagalog. I teach English Writing, Pronunciation, Travel, Conversational, Spelling, Vocabulary, Phonics, and Reading. I am also open for help and assistance with regards to your homework/assignments. I am a graduate of the College of Teacher Education of Cebu Normal University-Main Campus. I graduated with Latin Honor Magna Cum Laude taking up Bachelor of Elementary Education-General Education. I am a consistent Dean's Lister in the said university. I have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate. Also, I am a Senior High School Academic Excellence Awardee. I have three experiences in teaching. First, I was a student intern at CNU-Integrated Laboratory School for four months. Second, I teach in Preply for over a year now. Third, I have been exposed to different kinds of students during my Senior High School Work Immersion at Holy Trinity Child Development School for two months. I am patient and kind. I always make sure that my students will learn from me. I am also creative with the learning materials that I use in teaching. My teaching strategy will align with 3P's - Preparation, Presentation, and Practice. My first lesson with the student will start with a placement test for me to know your level. I specialize in Conversational English. I believe that there is no shortcut for learning a language. But, the only thing that I can say is "LOVE WHAT YOU HATE, TO HAVE WHAT YOU LOVE." The same thing as; if you want to learn a language you need to face mistakes even if you hate it, because you will learn from those mistakes.
