I have three-year experience teaching Mandarin in Shanghai. I've provided one-on-one tutoring for over 10 international primary and middle school students. My students come from a wide range of countries, including Pakistan, Portugal, Thailand, and South Korea, and vary in age from young children to teenagers. Each student is unique, so I design individualised lesson plans that suit their pace and goals. In class, I review previous content, break down new material step by step, and help students build a clear framework of knowledge. My teaching also includes writing drills, themed cultural essays, and regular feedback to help students write clear, logical Chinese. At the end of each lesson, I use quick review tasks and interactive quizzes to reinforce key learning points. I mainly use HSK materials and tailor-made PPTs, along with resources like the International Curriculum for Chinese Language Teaching and official HSK teaching guides.
