I enjoy using a variety of teaching methods and materials to keep my class interactive. For example, I often incorporate authentic materials such as videos, songs, news and stories into my lessons to expose students to real-life language usage. I also like to use role-plays and discussions to encourage students to practice their speaking skills and build confidence in using Chinese. I’m a patient person. I always strive to tailor my lessons to meet the individual needs. I believe that effective communication is the key to successful language learning.
