Hi, I’m Doris! I have always loved languages and cultures, and Mandarin has been my passion for many years. I hold a Master’s degree in International Chinese Education and a TCSL teaching certificate. I have taught Mandarin at universities in China and also provided online and in-person lessons to students of all ages in New Zealand. For me, teaching is not just about imparting language skills, but also about sharing culture and inspiring curiosity. I enjoy using games, stories, songs, and cultural activities to make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. I believe every student has a unique learning pace and interests, so I tailor my lessons to meet their needs, helping them gain confidence and enjoy learning Mandarin more than they expected. My lessons are suitable for anyone who wants to learn Mandarin—children, teenagers, or adults.
