Hello! My name is Teacher Elizabeth and I am so happy you are here 😊 I am an English tutor from Zimbabwe with 6 years of teaching experience. For 3 years I taught Grade 2 at Nidd Valley Primary School in Chinhoyi. I taught 35 students English, Reading, Writing, and Comprehension using the ZIMSEC syllabus. Managing a big class taught me patience, creativity, and how to explain things in simple, fun ways. For another 3 years I was also a Sunday School teacher at Apostolic Church. I taught 40 children aged 6 to 12. In Sunday School I learned how to use stories, songs, games, and visual aids to keep children engaged and excited to learn. Children learn best when they feel safe, happy, and encouraged — and that is exactly the environment I create in my lessons. I specialize in teaching young learners ages 6 to 12, beginners, and students who want to build confidence in speaking English. My lessons are never boring! We learn through conversation, role play, storytelling, flashcards, and interactive activities. We will practice pronunciation, new vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening skills step by step. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and positive. I believe mistakes are part of learning, so I always encourage my students and celebrate their progress, big or small. Every child learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to your level, interests, and goals. If you love animals, we will talk about animals. If you love cartoons, we will use cartoons to learn new words. I understand that learning a new language can feel difficult at first. That is why I make sure my students feel comfortable from the very first lesson. I speak clearly, I listen carefully, and I give lots of positive feedback. My goal is not just to teach you English, but to help you enjoy speaking English and feel proud of yourself. I have experience working with students from different backgrounds, and I welcome students from Cambodia, Thailand, and all over the world.
