Hello, I’m Amanda from China. I grew up living in many different cities across China and am currently based in Beijing. This life experience has given me a deep understanding of the history, culture, customs, cuisine, accents, and dialects of various regions in China.
After completing my undergraduate studies, I went to the University of Glasgow, Scotland for master degree. Through language and cultural exchanges with classmates and friends from around the world, I came to realize that language is the key to exploring the world and a tool to satisfy your curiosity about another culture—not just a means to pass exams.
Additionally, I have a wide range of hobbies and interests: skiing, diving, cycling, hiking, mountain climbing, boxing, dancing, hosting events, music, cooking, and mixology. If you share any of these interests, we can learn to express everything you want to say about them in a new language!
* Class A Mandarin Certificate, former radio host with standard and authentic pronunciation
* Specialized in absolute beginners; fluent in English for clear, detailed explanations
* Business Chinese: Rich background and work experience in international trade, logistics, and finance. Quickly improve through practical simulations; master real-world Chinese skills for business trips and negotiations
* Daily life & travel Chines: Practice conversational scenarios based on your interests to boost speaking/listening skills
* HSK 1–3 & YCT exam prep: Balanced training in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
* Customized learning plans, tailored to your personal goals
I believe learning a new language requires an immersive environment, lasting interest, frequent use, and a strong desire to express yourself. Language is fascinating—don’t let rigid templates become constraints. I look forward to joyful conversations with you and designing a class style that matches your personality and preferences. Together, we’ll achieve your goals while enjoying the journey. Let’s learn happily and thrive!"

Hello! My name is Jessy and I'm from China. I'm a CTCSOL-certified teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Literature, majoring in Advertising. I have a wide range of hobbies, including painting, Chinese calligraphy, baking, traveling and reading.
My approach is grounded in real experience:
Patience & Encouragement: As a volunteer teacher in Bali, I taught Chinese to young children. That experience taught me the incredible power of patience, creativity, and encouragement—skills that are just as vital for teaching adults.
Practical Language Skills: In my professional role, I work directly with foreign guests . This has given me a strong, practical command of the Chinese and English used in real-world situations, from business interactions to casual daily conversation. I teach the language you'll actually use.
My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive, and encouraging.
