Over 20 years, I've worked in visual arts, classical animation, and gaming—and I've loved every minute of it. For the past 3 years online (and 17 years in-person before that), I've been helping students just like you unlock their artistic potential and land spots in their dream art colleges and universities. Here's how we'll work together: I focus on the fundamentals that matter—life drawing, gesture, contour, and rendering. Each class includes a live demo where I show you exactly how it's done, detailed notes you can review anytime, and plenty of hands-on practice where you draw while I give real-time feedback and actionable tips to level up your skills. I teach using Photoshop, but any drawing program works! A drawing tablet or monitor is highly recommended to get the most out of our sessions. Here's my favorite truth about art: the sooner you make your first 5,000 mistakes, the sooner you'll master your craft. Every "mistake" is actually a lesson in disguise.
