My name is Laurentina and I come from Lesotho, the beautiful mountain kingdom located in the heart of the African Continent. I'm a passionate and dedicated English Teacher with 10 years of teaching experience. I hold a Diploma in Adult Education as well as a 120 hour TEFL Certification, which has equipped me with the skills to teach students from the different backgrounds cultures and age effectively. As a fluent English speaker, I enjoy helping both adults and teenagers achieve their language goals, whether you are a complete beginner, a traveller preparing for a visit, an employee individual looking to improve communication skills, or simply someone who wants to learn English fun and life abroad. I'm here to guide and support you every step of the way. My lessons are designed to be positive, friendly, and interactive, and student centred. I strongly believe that every learner is unique, which is why I tailor each lesson according to your goals, learning style, pace, and interests. I use communicative, falicitative, task based, and scaffolding teaching methods supported by continuous feedback to ensure steady progress and confidence building. I specialise in Conversational English and travelling language, helping students communicate naturally and comfortably in real life situations. My lessons include listening, speaking, reading, and writing practice in a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate freely without fear of making mistakes. Beyond teaching, my hobbies also play an important role in making my lesson engaging and culturally enriching. I enjoy visiting places of interest, reading magazines and attending cultural events. These experiences allow me to introduce students to authentic English culture, traditional current topic, travel experiences, and everyday conversations. Through stories, cultural discussions, and real life examples, students not only learn the language but also gain a deeper understanding of the people and lifestyle other nations.
