Hello. My name is Marfa, I have been teaching Russian for more than 10 years, and for 4 of them I worked at the preparatory faculty of an university in St. Petersburg. I taught mainly to well-educated people who learned Russian to continue their studies, work, or because they have a Russian-speaking partner. I like to customize my lessons based on the students' goals, and we always achieve a great result, even if we do not use an intermediary language.
In addition to my degree in Russian language and literature, I have a degree in art history and a degree in psychology. That is why I can offer Russian language classes with a specialization in Russian culture, history or psychology for high-level students.
Beginers will not be bored either: I use my own method based on modern textbooks and a lot of live material - audio, video, comics, memes, etc. I believe that the Russian language learning should be exciting for the necessary result.

My background as a teacher of ESL is extensive. I taught technical English to engineering students at the university (MEPhI) for 8 years. Additionally I have been preparing Russian students for the English State Exam at school and adults for business and private trips to English speaking countries.
As a philologist I am able to pinpoint individual issues and difficulties to help correct problems in language acquisition.
I provide a variety of activities so you will never get bored. For example, I will use fun warm up tasks, games, interactive conversational lessons, and quizzes. We will use authentic materials as well. All materials are provided. You will learn conversational skills, formal writing skills, and test taking strategies all in a fun manner.
