I have accumulated over 10 years of professional experience in the field of education. In my most
recent position at Gokkusagi Koleji in Istanbul, and Kazanim International Schools served as a
dedicated instructor, specializing in physics and mathematics. During my tenure, I have acquired
valuable knowledge and skills that have prepared me to excel in the role of a Design & Technology
Teacher at Your platform. Also as you can see I never stop learning so that the methodology for
me never been seperated from content, as I believe that; in order to make the student attain 10%
of a concept; you need to know at least 90% about it theoritically and empirically! At least three
ways in which my experience at Gokkusagi Koleji and Kazanim Int Schoolshas prepared me for this
position are: 1. Curriculum Development: At different schools and institutions, I actively
participated in developing and implementing the physics and mathematics curriculum, adhering to
the standards set by the Ministry of Education. This experience has equipped me with a deep
understanding of the subject matter and the ability to design comprehensive lesson plans that
cater to the needs of diverse learners, and as a supervisor of scientific stream& head of physics; I
was the schools 'Dynamo' for of customized and adaptable management programs that satisfy
technology, science and math needs. 2. Innovative Teaching Methods: Throughout my tenure, I
continually sought out innovative teaching methods and techniques to engage students in their
learning process. By incorporating hands-on experiments, technology-based activities, and realworld
applications, I fostered an interactive learning environment that enhanced student
participation and comprehension.(as you can see the diversity of courses and programs I insisted to
learn as I realized they are crucial parts pf my tools) 3. Individualized Student Guidance: I firmly
believe in providing personalized support and attention to each student, ensuring their academic
success. I regularly monitored student progress, identified areas of improvement, and implemented
targeted strategies to address their individual needs effectively. This approach resulted in
improved overall performance and increased student motivation. Moreover, I have a strong
commitment to ongoing professional development and enthusiastically engage in additional
training and workshops to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and best
practices. My ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and colleagues, along with my
excellent communication and organizational skills, further contribute to my effectiveness as an
instructor. I am confident that my strong background in education, coupled with my passion for
Design & Technology,

I graduated from Aalto University in the field of mathematics. I have worked at Aalto University as a course assistant for more than 4 years, in mathematics and physics courses. I have really good feedback from students in the course feedback! I have also participated in math competitions and I do math in my spare time. Matikka is my hobby and passion, out of love for the sport! ;)
I am able to teach students of all levels, be it elementary school, high school or college. My teaching style works for all backgrounds! I try to teach in such a way that the student basically understands the subject and is able to apply it himself later, rather than superficially learning the subject.
I teach various subjects and coach students for course exams, entrance exams, and special lessons are offered to those who have already practiced in a variety of ways. We can focus on strengthening acquired skills or developing new skills and knowledge. I am ready to support students in their learning process and help them achieve their goals.

Struggling with AP Calculus, SAT Math, or IGCSE? You’re not bad at math — you just haven’t had it explained in a way that clicks yet. That’s what I help fix.
Hi, I’m Elijah, a medical student. I work with high school and college students who find topics like Calculus and Trigonometry confusing or overwhelming.
If you’ve ever looked at a problem and had no idea where to start, you’re not alone. Most students I work with feel stuck at first. My role is to break things down in a way that actually makes sense, so you can approach problems with more clarity and confidence.
Before any lesson, I ask a few questions to find where things stop making sense. Most students are stuck earlier than they think — calculus issues often come from algebra, and trigonometry problems usually come from how angles are understood. Finding that gap is the first step.
Then we work through problems together. You try first, I watch where you hesitate, and we fix that exact point. It’s more hands-on than watching solutions, but it’s what actually sticks.
I’ve spent over five years as a Lead STEM Tutor at iTutors Academy, helping high school and college students prepare for AP Calculus and SAT/ACT Math.
My focus is simple: helping you think through problems, not memorize them. We break topics into clear steps, practice exam-style questions, and focus on your weak areas — so you move from guessing to solving with confidence.
You don’t need to be “naturally good” at math to improve, you just need the right explanation.
Book a trial lesson and we’ll go through a topic you’re struggling with step by step. By the end, you should feel clearer and more confident than when you started.

Hello, I’m Gamal.
“Why do I even need algebra?”
“Why should I learn calculus?”
“Where did this equation come from?”
“How do I apply it?”
“Does this even make sense?”
These are valid thoughts, and they are exactly what we work on.
Mathematics shouldn’t be a collection of formulas that you are expected to memorize and use without understanding. You should know where an equation comes from, what it means, why it works, and when to apply it.
It should make sense.
You’ll learn with an Associate Professor and PhD in Astrophysics, but these are not lecture-hall lessons. They are clear, practical conversations where confusion is welcome, questions are encouraged, and every step has a reason.
I have extensive experience teaching mathematics at school and university levels. I teach IB, IGCSE, A-level, AP, and other advanced mathematics courses, as well as university mathematics for science and engineering students.
We work directly with your course topics, class material, and past-paper questions. Step by step, you will learn to read problems carefully, choose an appropriate method, explain your reasoning, and write solutions that earn full marks.
For Year 11–12 students in Australia and New Zealand, lessons can also be tailored to HSC Advanced or Extension Mathematics, VCE Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics, with your ATAR and university-entry goals in mind.
My approach is simple: understand first, then practise.
We build the foundations you need, connect new ideas to what you already know, and work through problems step by step.
When something seems complicated, we break it down. When a formula appears out of nowhere, we look at where it comes from. When you know a method but don’t know when to use it, we practise recognizing the type of problem and choosing the right approach.
We don’t just ask, “How do I solve this?” We also ask, “Why does this work?” “Why do I need this?” and “What does this actually tell me?”
That is how you move from memorizing mathematics to actually understanding it.
For exams, past papers help turn understanding into exam performance.
The goal is to help you reach the point where you look at a difficult question and think:
“I know how to start this.”
And eventually:
“Wait… this actually makes sense.”
If you’re a parent, the change I want you to see is simple:
Not: “Can you help me solve this?”
But: “I think I know how this works. Let me show you.”
That’s what we’re working toward.
A note about homework and exams: I won’t do your homework for you or simply give you the answers. Send questions at least two days before the lesson so we can identify the difficult idea, understand the method, and practise with similar examples.
For exam preparation, please contact me well in advance. Strong results come from building understanding and practising consistently—not from last-minute revision.
Bring me the topic that doesn’t make sense yet. Let’s make it make sense.
