【🟧 About Me】Hello, I'm Yiya, from Guangzhou China. My native languages are Mandarin and Cantonese. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Management in France, and my Master's degree in International Public Relations and Global Communications Management in the UK. I have been speaking English for 25 years and French for 10 years. I can teach Chinese in four languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and French (Chinese will still take up more than 70% of the class, because our goal is to practice Chinese). Unlike many Chinese teachers who focus only on teaching, I bring real work experience from multiple industries. I have worked in an environmental technology company on project negotiations, at Canton Tower leading international team communications, and currently in a telecommunications technology company researching artificial intelligence and the data economy. These jobs have given me firsthand experience in business negotiations, cross‑cultural coordination, and industry forums. My Chinese lessons are not just about textbook dialogues. For example, verb conjugation in French and tense logic in English do not exist in Chinese. On the other hand, Chinese tones, measure words, and topic‑prominent structures are the hardest for English/French speakers to adapt to. I have gone through the process of learning English and French from zero, so I can put myself in the learner's mindset and help you find the easiest way to make progress. My teaching is not textbook centered. You will see real signs, hear real conversations, and (with my accompaniment) have short interactions with real people – for example, ordering milk tea, asking for directions, or buying vegetables. Why this works: 1. Highly authentic: the words you learn are immediately useful. 2. Stronger memory retention: learning a word in front of a real store sign sticks much longer than memorizing a list. 3.
