He dado clases desde hace 30 años, ahora como ciudadana de un país que me ha acogido, he practicado otras actividades laborales, sin embargo mi amor por la educación me obliga a de vez en cuando asesorar a alguien que no comprende la Matemática. Mi metodología se basa en que una vez notificado el contenido específico que se va a tratar, debo saber qué conocimientos previos maneja y necesita para el tema a desarrollar. Completada esta fase me gustaría saber cuáles son las dudas que tiene el estudiante, o qué tanto sabe el estudiante del tema. En función de la información que proporcione pues paso a desarrollar el tema: comenzando de lo sencillo a lo complejo, no sin antes estableciendo el objetivo de aprendizaje, es decir, el estudiante debe estar claro a dónde va a llegar y cómo sabrá si ha logrado el aprendizaje del contenido. El estudiante con sus propias palabras, explicará lo que ha comprendido y lo que no, se repetirá de nuevo las explicaciones que no hayan quedado claras. Se desarrollarán prácticas, en Matemáticas, al igual que en el deporte y la música, hay que entrenar y practicar.
