One of the core principles I believe in is that no student is weak—some just learn differently, some take longer, and some need encouragement. So in this classroom, mistakes are not failures—they are stepping stones to growth. You will find me patient, approachable, and always willing to repeat or re-explain a concept until it clicks. I also try to relate complex theories to real-life situations. For example, when we study Newton’s Laws, I will show you how they are not just equations but the very principles behind walking, driving, or even launching a rocket. When we talk about quadratic equations in Mathematics, I will connect them with real-world applications like engineering, design, and even nature itself. My goal is to help you see learning as an adventure, not a burden.
Beyond academics, I believe a teacher is also a guide and motivator. Many times, you may feel that a subject is “too hard” or “not for me.” But trust me, with the right approach and consistency, nothing is beyond your reach. I will always remind you that education is not about scoring marks; it is about building a strong foundation for your future and shaping your character.

Hi! My name is Sarara. I am currently training to be a secondary school maths teacher. I also have a bachelor’s degree in physics.
I have tutored for the last three years with great success, all of my students have improved by at least one grade with one improving by 3 grades.
I tailor all my lessons to the students needs whether that be to improve their grades or to build confidence and extend their knowledge past the curriculum.
I try to keep my lessons fun to try and inspire others to love maths as much as I do. Students often wonder the relevance of maths, so I try and apply the topics to the real world.

To master any subject, a clear concept of the topic is paramount. My lesson style ensures the student has a clear understanding of what is being asked and that they can grow to be confident in solving problems.
The structure of each lesson is as follows:
Each lesson we start off with a small exercise based off the previous lesson to ensure that the student is confident with that topic.
In the main section of the lesson we will go through the new topic content. The style of lessons will vary between students, but in all lessons I encourage conversation related to the topic to broaden understanding. I have found that this is one of the best ways to engage students and see them progress in their confidence.
After this, to compound the topic knowledge and information, questions are given to the student to solve, this may be accompanied by extra questions from myself to encourage a problem solving and critical thinking mindset. This helps develop a greater understanding and identifies areas where further assistance is required.
Applying maths and physics to real world scenarios is another area I like to encourage. My goal for you as the student is to obtain a solid understanding of the subject that will allow you to retain the information learnt and take your exams with confidence.
As I come up to four years of tutoring, I find it extremely rewarding to see students grow, overcome challenges and have fun during their studies. During this time I have learnt different teaching techniques and how to tailor each lesson for each student so you can get the best support you need.

Trato de hacer las clases dinámicas, llevando al alumno a deducir por si mismo los resultados. De esa manera, al pensar mas profundamente, se fija mejor el aprendizaje. Hacer ejercicios es fundamental pero muchas veces es un proceso lento, por eso es preferible dejarlos como tarea y que el alumno aproveche al máximo su tiempo de clases consultando las dudas especificas que tuvo al resolverlos.
