Luego de mi primer año como estudiante en la Universidad de Santo Domingo (UASD) obtuve una beca para estudiar en la ex Unión Soviética (Rusia). Obtuve mi licenciatura y maestría en ciencias técnicas tanto del Instituto Politécnico de Leningrado como de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Leningrado (San Petersburgo) en 1991. Completé con éxito un programa de preparación docente para la Universidad de Brooklyn en 1997 y obtuve la certificación del Estado de Florida y Massachusetts como Profesora de Matemáticas. Maestro de grados 6-12 en 2002.
Enseñé Matemáticas Bilingües en Escuelas Secundarias Públicas de la Ciudad de Nueva York y Florida de 1994 a 2010. He estado enseñando Matemáticas y Física en la Universidad APEC y otras instituciones de educación superior en Santo Domingo durante los últimos 10 años. Durante la pandemia del participé en varios talleres como gamificación en entornos virtuales; herramientas Moodle; CANVAS y Uso de la Plataforma Microsoft. He implementado para el desarrollo de cursos virtuales una tableta gráfica junto con una pizarra digital interactiva (pizarra blanca). Me permitió impartir instrucción con la misma fluidez que las clases presenciales típicas.
